Assets register
Registered, tested,retired — on therecord.
A live record of the electrical equipment at every site you service, held against the address rather than the client — so the history survives a change of owner, agent or tenant. From the day an installer registers a switchboard to the day it's decommissioned and recycled.
Compliance obligations attach to equipment, but most systems file that equipment under whoever is paying the invoice. When the managing agent changes or a building is sold, the test history goes with the old client record and the next technician starts from nothing.
We attach each asset to a location. Clients, jobs and invoices reference the location; the equipment record stays put.

Four ways to register an asset

QR tagging
Each asset is issued an ID and a printable QR sticker. On site, a technician scans the sticker to open the asset, log a test or raise a defect. An unrecognised tag starts a new registration with the location already filled in from the job.

Compliance tracking
Test intervals default from the asset type and the standard that applies to it. Next due dates are calculated from the last recorded test, overdue items surface at both site and asset level, and a reminder can be raised ahead of the due date. Certificates attach to the asset and the location together.

Asset history
Every asset carries a timeline: tests passed and failed, defects raised, relocations, layout changes, firmware updates and the original registration. Filterable by tests, events and changes, and attributable to a technician and a job number.

A switchboard is recorded as a board, not a line item.
The board is drawn as it is built: DIN rails of modules, each device sized by its pole count and coloured by type, with main switch, MCBs, RCBOs, RCDs and spare ways all visible at a glance. Devices that failed or are approaching a test date are flagged in place.
